Dr. Ashwin Venkataraman is a board-certified family medicine physician who is passionate about caring for the whole person, not just the symptoms.

He brings experience in comprehensive primary care and has worked with diverse and underserved communities, helping patients feel heard, supported, and involved in their care.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed his family medicine residency at Rush Copley Medical Center in Illinois.

His clinical interests include preventive medicine, lifestyle and obesity medicine, and behavioral health. Dr. Venkataraman values clear communication, shared decision-making, and working together as a care team to support each patient’s overall well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Venkataraman enjoys spending time outdoors, photography, gardening, traveling, and being with his family and dogs. He also enjoys hands-on projects focused on sustainability and curiosity. His personal interests reflect the same values he brings to patient care: balance, connection, lifelong learning, and a thoughtful approach to wellness.
